I do a lot of fieldwork for my job in NKY and have often wondered how best to identify Running Buffalo Clover (looking at plants has absolutely nothing to do with my job by the way). Thanks so much for passing this information along. The pictures are fantastic as well!Dawnnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7022216829037318291.post-16906207167337584152011-05-22T18:53:36.246-04:002011-05-22T18:53:36.246-04:00I admire you and your fellow botanists for your ed...I admire you and your fellow botanists for your education and your desire to preserve rare flora in its natural habitat!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7022216829037318291.post-58431414181428945342011-05-21T18:59:36.153-04:002011-05-21T18:59:36.153-04:00Funny how plants bloom one place and aren't ev...Funny how plants bloom one place and aren't even close in another part of the same County?Michael Bartneckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00274980237298207404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7022216829037318291.post-52032207513930102702011-05-21T17:00:11.418-04:002011-05-21T17:00:11.418-04:00Bob, I spend plenty of time out in the field makin...Bob, I spend plenty of time out in the field making my own rare plant discoveries but sometimes between work and school it's hard to find the time and gas money to spend on a gamble. I associate myself with an extraordinary group of botanists who all point one another in the right directions for plants we are searching out.

I agree that it is much more special and memorable finding plants such as T. stoloniferum on your own and have enjoyed many experiences like that but to say it's like seeing it in a zoo being given a helping hand...well I full-heartedly disagree.Andrew Lane Gibsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01555125434346996812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7022216829037318291.post-53924948649939524742011-05-21T16:35:09.603-04:002011-05-21T16:35:09.603-04:00I never considered having someone show me their fi...I never considered having someone show me their find anything like finding it oneself, thats like finding a rare plant at the zoo.We have the reflexum here in K.Y. as well.
